Acrylic painting in greyscale. My idea for this painting came during an early morning walk whilst visiting friends. They live in a small quiet village surrounded by woodland near Northumberland. I painted this image from the memory of that visit.This is a first for me to paint in black and white. But I do like the misty calm mood the greyscale lends to this scenic painting.
