Notes

A while ago I saw a photograph of a woodland scene with daylight peeping through the canopy of trees. The way the light shone through the tree branches interested me because it looked so calm and serene. I painted this image from the memory of the photo rather than copy. When I paint I like to use a little imagination so I used a bit of impasto gel at the base for texture and depth.
