Fantasy, figurative, abstract mixed media painting with the beautifull ballerina the central focus. This piece was inspired by the great music of some european' symphonic' rock bands. Performances by bands ' Epica' and ' Within Temptation' feature orchestral elements with traditional rock music. The extra element that makes these bands unique and inspiring is they have a female opera singer on vocals. The combination is powerfull, dramatic uplifting music with soothing beauty of the singers voice. This painting represents the music that inspires me to paint.
